  1. I, too, have found that profound connections occur when we reveal our true selves, our weaknesses, our vulnerable side. I grew up in a home where each parent chose to hide this and it came out in very distorted ways and at some point what once was thought to be hidden was revealed for all to see. I have learned a lot from understanding their shame, their fears and noting that those mirrors do not have to reflect that pain any longer.
Thank you Nancy for reminding me of the wholeness that has come through those painful but acknowledged and once hidden aspects of myself ~ I know there is a lot more to be seen and I am no longer afraid of what I may find.
    With Love and Gratitude,
    Suzanne
