I have been reading a really interesting book called The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn. It is filled with wonderful affirmations and I found myself experimenting with one this week, so I thought I would share. One of the things I find challenging with the Law of Attraction concepts is deciding what it is I want to manifest. I find myself coming up with too many different things and jumping from one affirmation to another. That’s why I love this concept of the “Divine idea.” The phrase Scovel Shinn uses in the book is “Let the Divine idea come out of this situation.” What I love about this is that it leaves the manifestation details up to the Divine. I am able to relax knowing that whatever is highest and best for me will come about, even if I’m not exactly sure what that looks like yet. Plus, I’ve found when I leave it up to the Divine without limiting my intention things turn out even more abundantly wonderful than I would have thought to ask for!
This week I experimented with a few variations on this affirmation for different situations. Here are the ones I came up with:
For a relationship situation – Let the Divine idea of this relationship manifest with ease.
For a financial situation – Let the Divine idea of my financial prosperity manifest with ease.
For a health issue – Let the Divine idea of my physical health and well-being manifest with ease.
For a career issue – Let the Divine idea of my work manifest with ease.
That’s just a few possibilities. Take whatever your concern is and customize it to your situation! After you come up with the affirmation, repeat it to yourself frequently, especially when you start to doubt that things are going to work out as you hope. I find it brings me instant peace and my energy system expands and opens. I have also had some noticeable positive shifts in the topics I have been saying the affirmations for, even with only using it off and on for a few days!
I’ve added the book to my Amazon store here if you want to take a look: The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn
Happy Manifesting!

I LOVE this, what a perfect way to ask for help especially in most of life’s situations where we clearly only have a limited perspective! And Thank you Nancy for always sharing the ‘Divine Idea’s’ that you welcome into your Life.
